Mehr als 250 Menschen kamen in Dresden zusammen! Sie ließen gemeinsam vor der Semperoper viele hundert bunte Luftballons in den Himmel steigen. Die Aktion in Dresden sollte auch als ein Zeichen der Verbundenheit mit den Menschen in den über 70 Ländern sein, in denen Homosexualität noch immer strafbar ist. In sieben Ländern werden homosexuelle Handlungen mit der Todesstrafe belegt.

Der Justizsenator Till Steffen hielt eine kleine Ansprache und auch der Bürgermeister Ole von Beust hatte Grüße ausrichten lassen. Viele Menschen halfen spontan, Ballons aufzupusten und zu verteilen.
